Now I know what you're thinking.  You just had a baby, why are you talking about products for your period. And you're somewhat right.  I haven't gotten my period back so I can't talk to you directly about that.  However, I can talk to you about something that's worse than your period...postpartum bleeding. 

Like the founder, I have really nice sheets and I was terrified of them getting ruined when I had the baby. I was thrilled to be given the chance to review them, I was even more excited when they came before I had the baby because I was experiencing some "leakage" and was always terrified of getting in someone's car or sitting on furniture.

I received my package in the mail and quickly noted to myself how great they felt.  They felt very soft, yet at the same time had a thick, durable quality to them. The next time my fiance and I went out to eat, I put them on and was surprised at how great they felt even being super pregnant. I enjoyed my dinner without having to worry about leaking through my liner,  Just knowing I had the extra protection put my mind at ease.

Fast forward to when I had the baby.  I bled. A LOT.  As do most women after having a baby.  I was TERRIFIED of going anywhere for fear that I would soak through the pad I was wearing.  I was much more comfortable knowing I had extra protection of the PeriodPanteez there to save me.  And I never once had any problems.  I had enough to worry about with taking a newborn in public without the embarrassment of leaking through my pads and this product definitely helped a lot.

The only suggestion I have is to come up with an alternative to the boy short design.  Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the design; however many pads, including "mama cloth" are made with wings and for me it was difficult to use these with the boy short design.

***Update 1/2/13:Call it mommy brain, but after speaking with the creator after this post, she stated that the disposable wings actually stick nicely to PeriodPanteez without moving. I honestly didn't think about this and just cut the wings when I used the PeriodPanteez.  Just me not thinking after having a baby!  I can't wait to try it out when my period returns.  I will update again when that happens ;)
