About the company: EZ Squeezes was started in Baltimore, MD, USA to help you provide your kids with nourishing food over and over again. They found themselves compromising on nutrition and paying too much for convenience of pre-packaged purees. No matter how you use it, EZ Squeezees reusable pouches hopes to make your life easier/healthier/better. Fill. Squeeze. Eat. Repeat.
I was given the opportunity to review for EZ Squeezees. While my baby isn't old enough to use these yet, I love the idea and also love bringing my readers who have older children reviews like this. Luckily, I have two amazing friends who let me borrow their kids and help with the review!
Reusable snack pouches are one of the greatest inventions. It's so much easier for kids to use these than spending a ton of time spoon feeding applesauce or other pureed food and then still having to clean it up because it still went everywhere. With these there's no mess.
It teaches kids to also be a little more independent with their own food too.
As you can see on the chart below they are super easy to use and even dishwasher safe!
The size is great and actually holds a good amount of food. It was also easy to fill up. I love that there's a place to write on the back what is in the pouch. If you are out and about with multiple pouches, you don't want to have to waste time trying to figure out which one to get to the little one.
It would be nice for the lid to not only be a different color (hard to find when it dropped on the floor), but also make the lid larger because it does seem like a bit of a choking hazard for smaller toddlers. I would love to see some different color added to their packaging as well.
What's more is that you can save more than $.40 over store bought pre-packaged pouches and one more point I love is that they have recipes already up on their site if you need ideas of what to put in the pouches.

ReplyDeleteI made most of my sons purees using a Baby Brezza. He eats almost everything pureed and there are a lot of ingredients in these recipes that I haven't tried with him yet. I think I'd start with a beet recipe.
